Friendspacebook.com is a parody of social networking sites, loosely modeled on FaceBook, MySpace, Friendster, etc. We’ve filled it with parody profiles of celebrities and web-types, and now YOU can sign up and create your own parody profiles.
- HOW DO I SIGN UP?
It’s so simple, even a parody of a celebrity can do it!
Just click on that “sign up” link at the top. We ask a bunch of nosey questions. Then you get a USER profile, and you’re on your way!

… Your USER profile is your “home base.”It’s like the basecamp where you create Parody Profiles and release them out into the general population, but you can always come back here to care for them. It’s where your fans can come and see the profiles you’ve made, where you can list your favorite parody profiles, and where you can get actual real friends from the community that enjoys and creates Friendspacebook.com PARODY profiles.
- WHAT’S A PARODY PROFILE?
A parody profile is one of the profiles YOU create as a satiric tool to have fun with a Celebrity, famous person, friend, or Dead Historical Figure. (See “What is AFTERSPACE?”) Parody Profiles can BEFRIEND other parody profiles… but they can’t become friends with USERS. We try to keep the two worlds separate.
- WHAT TOOLS DO I HAVE TO CREATE A PARODY PROFILE?
We’ve designed FRIENDSPACEBOOK.COM to use the same techniques and tools that the other social networking sites use. If you’ve ever made a MySpace profile, you’ll be completely familiar with all of the tools you can use to create a profile here. Our site can also …
HEY… did you know that PEREZ HILTON wears a truss? True!
… use many of the “customized” tools available around the web for creating social networking profiles, just change your Parody Profile's Theme from "FriendSpaceBook" to "MySpace" and copy and paste away.
You can also easily edit / delete and modify your profile using our tools, accessible from your User page.
- WHAT KIND OF STUFF CAN I PUT IN MY PARODY PROFILE?
There’s the obvious “standards and taste” stuff we don’t allow. We also DO NOT ALLOW COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL. Don’t upload it, we’ll take it right down. PLEASE consult our TERMS OF USE and our Copyright Compliance Policy for specific rules.
There’s also a “Report Abuse ” link at the bottom of every page… use it to report offensive or copyright-infringing content.
- WHAT IS AFTERSPACE?
AFTERSPACE is where Dead Celebrity Profiles live. When you create your own celebrity parody profiles, you’ll have the option to put them in “AfterSpace.”
- WHAT’S UP WITH “FSB APPROVED?” WHO ARE YOU TO RATE MY WORK? AND BY THE WAY, SOME OF YOUR PROFILES AREN’T SO FUNNY!
Yeah, you’re probably right about that. You can’t make ‘em all gems!
Every profile on the site has a Ratings box. The highest rated can be found on the “Most Popular” page.
We use the FSB APPROVED stamp as a quick shorthand for everyone – we look at all of the submitted profiles and put a quick stamp on the ones we like. We’re not hard to please, as you can see from the profiles WE put up!
- CAN I MAKE MULTIPLE PROFILES?
Of course! They’ll all show up on your USER page. Every profile will also have your credit at the bottom, so people can celebrate your genius!
Speaking of Geniuses, did you know that SANJAYA has an IQ of 375! True that!
- WHAT’S UP WITH THE “UNFINISHED” PROFILES?
Around the site, you can see links to “claim” a profile. That’s like a stub on a wiki – if you’ve got a funny idea, go ahead and claim the profile and start working on it. It’s all yours!
